CrossFTP gives you the possibility of connecting to FTP servers and to other services, like Amazon S3 or Glacier, Google Storage and others. The application supports several simultaneous connections and it allows you to save and manage your connection profiles. Furthermore, handling multiple connections is quite easy, due to its multi-tab user interface. The application is cross platform and it comes in free and paid versions.

Local and remote files are displayed on separate panels. Each panel comes with options for viewing or editing selected files, creating new folders and others. Your saved connection profiles are displayed in a tree structure on the remote data panel, if you are not connected. You can select one of these profiles to establish a connection or you can bring up a site manager, on a separate window, on which you may create new profiles.

The application allows you to create tabs for local or remote data on each panel. As a result, you can exchange data between your local folders and multiple servers or between two different servers faster and easier. Files can be copied from one side to another by simply clicking and dragging them to another panel.

Connection profiles can be categorized in folders and sub-folders. The application is quite flexible when it comes to creating and customizing connection profiles. Besides the usual details, like host names, ports, login credentials and so on, you can make many other tweaks, on multiple tabs. As previously mentioned, CrossFTP provides support for custom FTPs and for various storage services, like Amazon or Google.

Pros

You can manage multiple FTP servers without any effort. The application supports multiple connections simultaneously. It allows you to create tabs, so you can exchange files between servers and local folders faster and easier.

Cons

Some features are reserved for the paid versions. Regardless of how many servers you have, you can manage them on the fly with CrossFTP.
